Problem:

Columns do not save (cannot keep order, width or hide/show) in spreadsheet or split view.

Cause:

Microsoft Access bug

Solution (two methods):

Solution A:Upgrade to Microsoft Access 2019

or...

Solution B:Right-click on any column and choose "Hide/Show columns...", toggle (check) any one field "on" and then "off", then close dialogue. Then close the menu with the small white 'x' in the far right corner (not the large Red 'X').
